Training and advise upon request
Many countries worldwide have asked and received DGOH's support in organising training programs on specific topics like ART, oral function, analysis on free fluoride in toothpaste and school health programs, basic periodontal care and public oral health. DGOH has also advised foreign dental staff in charge of curriculum construction on the inclusion of topics that are considered relevant for the country.

Short courses in public oral health and dental education
Since 2004, DGOH organises advanced short courses for international students from low- and middle-income countries. Students from all continents have been very enthusiastic about the courses; some of them are now involved in PhD projects in Nijmegen.
Occasionally, a tailor made short course in one of our areas of expertise is held in a requesting country.
